A Upromise member who participates in this program is eligible to receive a college contribution in his or her Upromise account each time he or she purchases or sells a home through a participating CENTURY 21® real estate office (more info). If a Upromise member sells a home through a participating office AND then buys a home through a participating office, he or she will receive a college contribution with respect to both the purchase and the sale.
In order to qualify for the contribution, Upromise members must conduct their transaction(s) through a participating CENTURY 21® real estate office. They must select their office through the link on the Upromise website, so that the appropriate tracking mechanism can be put into place to generate the college contribution.
PLEASE NOTE: If the Upromise member selects a CENTURY 21® office through the Upromise website AFTER having signed a listing agreement, buyer broker agreement, or sales contract with the real estate office, the real estate office is NOT obligated to extend the offer to the member.
- If joint owners or joint sellers of a home are both Upromise members, the college contribution will be only to one Upromise account -- the account of the Upromise member through which the real estate office was selected. Contribution percentage could vary. See FAQ's for additional information.
- You must take the first step of submitting your information to the CENTURY 21® System through www.upromise.com before making contact with a real estate office. Initiating contact with an office before submitting may affect your eligibility for a contribution (see Eligibility)
For CENTURY 21®: The 1/3% contribution assumes an evenly split 6% commission from participating real estate offices. Actual contribution may be higher or lower depending upon the commission and/or commission split associated with a particular transaction. Maximum contribution is $3,000 per purchase or sale. This real estate program is void in AK, KS, KY, LA, MS, MO, NH, NJ, OK, OR, RI, TN, and WV and wherever else prohibited. CENTURY 21® is a licensed trademark to Century 21 Real Estate Corporation.
